Crashing J1 Orientation was so damn fun. We formed human trains and zigzagged through the crowd, went up to the 2nd and even 3rd storey. The best part was when the whole school was clubbing at the central plaza. Glenn is crazy lol. He makes everyone high.
Definitely one of the best moment of my life.

The team talk had a fantastic effect on the team. On Saturday, we challenged and won most headers against Galacticos in our last ESPZEN match before pulling out. Sadly, we still conceded a goal from a header cuz no one jumped. But what is encouraging is the fact that we are starting to play like a team now. People are talking more on the pitch. And this time the result wasn't that bad, just a 3-0 lost against a team then put 18 past us in our first match as a team (Don't ask me how). Coach offered to pay us 50 bucks for every goal we scored but we spurned two opportunities. Anyway i have good news. ESPZEN called me in the afternoon and said that we played well against the champions of last season. They said a sponsor would be willing to pay 30 bucks per match if we continued playing in this league. =D. Seems like our improvement has been acknowledged! They said the director was at the game and he was impressed with our improvement.

Anyway during the match, James asked Coach Ramesh how he could improve his ball control. Coach called me over and asked me what i did to train my ball control in James' prescence. Had the urge to say talent but didn't blurt it out. He then told James to learn from me since I have the best control in the team. Den he said i was motm vs RJ. haha.

got beaten 6-0 by RJ yesterday. Was so disappointed and angry that i couldn't sleep all night. Our team doesn't play like a team and we only have ONE month left to improve. 2-0 down in the first half and after Akilan missed his penalty, the heads went down. There was an obvious lack of fight in the team. People cowering out of headers left me totally disgusted. Come on ppl, fight for the team? Look at RJ. Their captain was so damn commanding that he got my respect. He got their team going all the time and cheered damn loudly on his own. Their team was so damn united that it pains to see the situation of our team. We are akin to 11 individuals playing together. They play aggressive football and we have to play like them. Go in with determination. We have plenty to learn from them.
Had an emergency team talk today and had everything trashed out. Everyone's mistakes were pointed out and we gave suggestions on how we could improve the team. From now onwards we will have to work on 4 aspects: Confidence, Aggression, Teamwork and Winning headers. We all decided that anyone who cowers out of a challenge from now on will owe the team 20 pushups. Its time to improve and we don't have much time left. We need to get our basics right and take training to a higher intensity level. The coaches put so much faith in us and we are repaying them with shit. Coach Raj will obviously be so goddamn disappointed. Come on guys. We can play in training so show them that we can play on the pitch.

on a sidenote, I freaking love the match yesterday. In the firsthalf they were pushing us around and at the start of the second half zach told us to go in and kill them. Can't believe that made my hair stand. Anyway i was just damn fired up and it was a great feeling getting the team to go on. The RJ-HC rivalry is great. Only by playing will you understand.

during yesterday's training, coach raj asked if we ever wondered why he only wears a sock on his legs. Once i saw the skin underneath and it looks grafted. From then on, i've always thought that he suffered some severe burns there. He told us what happened yesterday. His entire left leg is reconstructed after getting into a fatal accident a few years back. He ruptured his aorta and that nearly took his life. He was in coma for 2 days and on wheelchair for a year. But yet, there he is, standing up, playing football again. This is how much he wants to play football. He said that if a 'crippled' can play football, normal people like us should put our heart and soul into it.

I thought he could have dramatized it to touch more people. But he told us that he did not want to see our sad faces. He wanted to inspire us. I was slightly touched but I swear i'll give a hundred and ten percent everytime i play.

Thanks Coach.

today the news reported that Dr Hon will take over Ang wee hiong's position as the principal of HCI. as expected really. 2 years of JC life under two different principals sounds fun. No real likes or dislikes but a change is always welcomed.
At least high sch assemblies are much more fun than jc assemblies which are a torture.
See you in Jan.
